ABOUT ME

I am inspired by all things related to design. In this blog, I share my love for interior design along with everything else that is influenced by design.

One of the main reasons I started this blog is to help you think about design in your own life and to pass along helpful hints, as well as, 'trade shortcuts’ that I have learned along the way in my design career.

As an interior stylist, my job is to help identify my clients' decorating needs - not to make a design choice for them. When it’s all said and done – it’s their home... not a showroom, not a magazine, not a design project. My clients are the ones who will live there, and entertain there, and raise their families there.

My goal is to help identify the design choices that work best for their design needs as well as their own lifestyle. As the designer, I am there to help keep them focused on their ultimate goal – to have a home that they can enjoy for years to come.

I don’t tell them exactly what to do and what not to do when it comes to decorating their own home – but I do give them options for their design needs. I let them know exactly what to consider when thinking of these options and I give them the pros and cons of each of the choices. In the end, I help them make the best design choice for their design needs.

In my experience, everyone has their own personal ‘likes and dislikes’ ... there is no cookie cutter formulas in interior design.

I look forward to this time here to share great ideas and tips to help start the design process within your own life…
